My Review:
First off, I never thought I would break down the way I did in this book. I was so very attached to these characters and this story is lovely, funny, and very heart breaking. This was the first John Green book that I've ever read and now I have to read them ALL! I did not expect to love this book like I did. Hazel the main character was so intelligent, and although she had cancer she didn't feel sorry for herself. She was always trying to make things better for the people around her. I also loved that she was very blunt and honest. Yes, Hazel would tell you what she thought inappropriate or not when she felt like it. Oh! Then there is Augustus Waters... I wish I could have a guy like him. He is so charming, thoughtful, funny, and I love how he looks at everything as a metaphor. I went through it all thinking I'm not going to cry and then when this one part came I had to literally put the book down because I was crying and couldn't make out the words... Yeah, I know I'm such a cry baby lol. Anyways, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS! If I could give this a 10 gazillion star rating I would... that's how freaking good it is. But, don't take my word for it pick it up and find out for yourself. I promise you, you won't be sorry. You will find out soon enough what "The Fault In Our Stars" literally means and you will sit there and ponder how John Green wrote something this brilliant. He is a simply amazing writer and I can't wait to get a hold of everyone of his books!
